Psychoeducational Assessments

  • help understand your child’s academic issues including their strengths and weaknesses
  • provides important information about your child’s learning style
  • information about their current academic performance
  • provide an understanding of an area of weakness despite your child generally being bright
  • explore whether your child would benefit from additional supports or accommodations at school to help them improve their current level of academic functioning

Therapy helps individuals understand and resolve their problems by increasing awareness of their inner world and its influence over relationships both past and present. It also helps individuals find practical and useful solutions through a collaborative and empathic relationship that focuses on issues that are troubling them.  People seek therapy for many different reasons including underlying feelings of depression or anxiety, difficulties in concentrating, dissatisfaction in work or inability to form satisfactory relationships. It may benefit adults, children, and adolescents.

Parenting Plans

A parenting plan is a written document that outlines how parents will raise their child(ren) together following a separation or divorce.  A parenting plan reflects the interest and needs of the child(ren).  A parenting plan can also reduce conflict between parents.

  • How decisions are made (joint or individual but with consultation from the other parent)

  • How information is shared between parents

  • When each parent will spend time with the child(ren)

  • How other parenting issues may be addressed
